As a result of a recent spike in Coronavirus outbreaks, we are seeing more and more jobs implementing mask mandates as a condition of employment / continued employment.  3M has required masks for some time now and, as of last week, TVA has implemented a mask mandate on all TVA sites.  The city of Knoxville has renewed mask requirements in all city buildings. It was mentioned that the UPF project is requiring masks even while in your vehicle entering or departing the facility. It is probably only a matter of time before all worksites will require masks.

Whether we agree or not, mask requirements are once again on the increase.  Refusing to wear a mask when mandated could result in termination of employment.  Dragging a job because of not agreeing with the mask mandate may be viewed as a voluntary quit and could result in a loss of unemployment benefits.
