Daniel Clifford Britton, age 34, of Maryville, Tennessee went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Ally, and the absolute greatest passion of his life was loving and doting on her. He was a dedicated son to his parents, and a friend to his siblings. Daniel enjoyed spending his time creating, playing, and listening to music, as well as fishing, spoiling Ally, playing and watching sports of all kinds, cheering on the VOLs, and time with his family.
Upon completion of his active duty commitment, Daniel came back home to Knoxville, TN where he started his civilian career and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tusculum University. Shortly afterwards, he entered into a 5 year Electrician Apprentice Program. Daniel was 4 years into that program at the time of passing.
Family will receive friends from 5:30 – 6:30 PM Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Southside Baptist Church, 1620 W Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville 37920, with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM, Pastor Gary Bohman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM committal service Friday, June 2, 2023 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway).
